One Month Old

So I'd like to start by saying that Ryan, Christine, and Alex all saw Caitlyn earlier too and we didn't get pics of them, but here they are now.

I know I have pics of my sister holding her too,l i think with our camera. If and/or when I find them I'll put them up. Oh and Alisa if you want you can email us a picture of you and we can photoshop Caitlyn in for you and post it.

Now on to the original thought.

WOW!! She's already a month old. That can't be right, really? I guess so. Well I'd like to say nothing has happened since our last post but it has been two weeks and there has been a fair amount going on here. First off Caitlyn has grown. At her two week check she was 8 lbs 5 oz and 21 in long. Since then I can tell she's getting bigger, she has chubby thighs now to go with her adorable chubby checks which she gets from her father. She still spends most of her time sleeping. As you can see.

But we like it that way. She's been eating more too but on the bright side she sleeps about 5-6 hours at night. Which we are both very grateful for. Lots of people have been through to see her like both sets of grandparents, they were both here this past weekend along with Ryan, Chirstine, Alex and Melinda (Christine's mom). That was a good visit. Alex played a little bit of Mario Cart with the boys. Starting early with the video games, although not as early as we are with Caitlyn. Right now she lays there and watches us play but one day she'll get the hang of it. Jenn came and stayed on her vacation too. We're trying to get some of our friends into the idea of having children starting with Ray and Jenn, just cuz she was here. Although we have some friends who after seeing her a few times are thinking about talking about having one. Funny it's our friends here in Columbia who are talking about it or having one's of their own.

Jordan is taking a lot of pictures as evidence below.

This is what I get for staying still too long i guess. Well little does he know but I've got one of him too.

See he's teaching her how to play computer games. He is a great help with her. I'm really lucky to have that. I'm not sure how a single mother can do all this. They are truly heroes in my opinion.

That's all that's been going on but there are still a few things to come. We are planning a trip into St Louis in July and another for Sept due to my brother getting married, then of course I will eventually have to go back to work, boo. Well I guess life is going to have a lot of changes from now on. Hope we're ready for them.

Yay! We made the blog!

"...and another for Sept due to my brother getting married..."

This confused me until I realized that it was Kacey posting.

Now I have to post again so that your blog entry won't say "1 comments", which is grammatically incorrect.

first off LOL at Ryan and the 1 comments, and then Thank you to him from and English teacher that would have been seriously annoyed by that, see we did learn something at South LOL

secondly do you really think you have a pic of me with Caty (he he he) I know I've held her a lot but when I'm not I have the camera myself

I held her the other day when you were out shopping. However, Alia didn't like that too much and kept kicking me the entire time. So, I relinquished your lovely child back to Jordan.

She is beautiful! Love all of her dark hair!

And congrats on the 5-6 hours of sleep -- that's awesome! Chandler will go 5 one time at night, but that's about it -- if I don't go to bed right after feeding him, I don't get that much sleep! :)
