Happy Birthday Caitlyn!

So Cailtyn is officially 4 years old.  We had a small family party (or at least some family) this past weekend.  She has been asking for a Barbie birthday, so that's what we did.. My house was decorated in black and pink. She was so excited.

It took me most of the morning but I made a Barbie cake.

She loved everything that she got.  She has also played with or used everything in just the weekend.

I'm glad that 3 is over and hooray for 4.  She is already showing proof that she has listened to the things we said for the past 4 years.  Lets see what else is going to change.

Happy Birthday, monster!

The Circus

We went to the circus last night.  I know it was Caitlyn's first circus but I didn't know it was Jordan's, or at least that he remembers. We all had fun.  We met up with Caitlyn's best friend's family and our sitter and her family.  It was a small circus but still really good.

There were lions and tigers,
and camels,
and ponies and horses,
and elephants.

There was only 1 clown but he was awesome.  He brought some people from the audience in on his act.

There were some really amazing acrobats and motorcycles in the death cage.

Caitlyn figured out that she really likes cotton candy, however she didn't like the funnel cake.  I don't know where that came from.

As we were walking out, the clown was selling light up noses and Jordan bought one for Caitlyn.  She wore it to bed.  Jordan asked her what her favorite part was, and showing that she is both her mother and father she said the motorcycles and the clown.

I bet we will go again next year.  We all had a great time.

Easter

I know we haven't written in a while but honestly not much has been going on. I thought you all would like to see Caitlyn in her Easter dress. She is so happy she could wear it. She's been bugging me about wearing it since we bought it. She also put on make up (lip gloss). A gift from my aunt.

(she made the mask at Day Care)

We didn't have an Easter egg hunt for her but she did one the weekend before in St Louis and she participated in the one at church during Children's worship.  So we have plenty of candy in the house.

Well that's all that's been going on here.  Now we just have to start planing a birthday party.  She is getting so big so fast.
