Caitlynisms

So the other day on our walk Cailtyn told me to "Don't fall into the storm drain. I like you." With all the emotion she could muster. She also grabbed my leg to help. How cute is our little girl?

She told her daddy at dinner "Don't cut yourself, I like you. I like you, I like you." Reaching her hand out to her dad. She was very concerned that he might hurt himself with his fork.

In the car with her dad:
Caitlyn: "Dad are you tired?
J-Yes a little bit. Are you tired?
C-No
J-That's because you are full of boundless energy.
C-That's because I have an Easter Egg. (laughter)"
(We split up the Easter candy into the eggs and she is allowed to have one a day.)

Caitlyn's first haircut.....

of sorts.

I wasn't sure if we were going to need to cut her hair. She managed to get it caught around the wheel of an automatic toy of Trev's. She didn't cry but she did say it hurt. My mom and I were able to get it all out. Although it took a little bit of time and pulling of hair. Thankfully her dad was holding her. I think she learned her lesson. Don't hold rotating things next to your hair.

So if you all don't know I've been cutting Jordan's hair for the past few years. I think I'm getting really good at but we don't always get around to it at the right time. So we are training our kiddo to help out. She had her first lesson tonight.

She had fun. I did most of it since Jordan seems to want to keep his ears on his head.

If any one needs an idea of presents to get the monster, she loves stickers. She goes through them quite fast because she sticks them everywhere.

Jordan brought her home from daycare today and she wanted to play with this puzzle. She solved it correctly a couple of times, and then decided to make sure and put all the pieces in the wrong places. That's a kind of organization, right?

And as you can see she still likes climbing into the toy box.
