That's right we had our 4 month appt today and she is 13 lbs and 24 1/2 inches (80% height, 55% weight). So she's still tall and skinny. She apparently hasn't read the book about what babies are supposed to do and when. Her bottom gums are getting hard and inflamed meaning her teeth will soon be coming in. She has been standing for ever now, and trying to walk. She is getting less wobbly and starting to hold on to stuff while she's standing. She still doesn't like to be on her belly even though she can lift most of her body on her front arms.
We bought her a walker a few weeks ago. I thought it was cute and she loves to stand and she can get heavy after a while. I know she isn't supposed to fit in it or use it but she doesn't know. She loves it plus she figured out that if she's in the kitchen she can move, backwards but still she's moving. She is also teething yes it's a little early but you tell her that. She is chewing on everything she can put in her mouth. She's also getting better at that too. Her hand eye coordination is definitely improving. She holds her own bottle and when it come out of her mouth she tries to put it back in and sometimes gets it. I know children are supposed to grow up fast but this fast? Maybe it's just my perspective. Any ways on to the pictures.
We still scoot to the corner of the crib.
and if you look closer she holds on to the sides. It makes it hard to get her out in the morning cuz she won't let go.
She is so flexable.
Not sure about this
Oh wait it's fun
And here we go again.
Hooray for me!
Sweet mohawk! yes it's natural.
And just for fun, this is how I found the dog the other day.
I'm glad some one is using the boppy.

The Big Wedding Weekend
Well my brother finally got married. He's only been dating Tera for about 9 years. So we packed up and went to St Louis. I would like to report that this trip was a vast improvement from last time. Caitlyn slept most of the way and the portion she wasn't asleep she was quietly playing with her hands or toy. I was so happy. Jordan was already in St Louis working so I was by myself driving in.
The wedding was beautiful. My new sister looked wonderful. It was an outdoor wedding beside the Butterfly house. Thankfully the remnants of hurricane Ike did not show up until Sun. Although the sky started looking troublesome,
but there was a breeze that cooled us off. Besides it wasn't that long of a service. Caitlyn looked very cute in one the numerous outfits Alisa sent. She even slept through the service so she was quiet unlike another baby there. He wasn't that bad the unfortunate thing was he belonged to the matron of honor and best man. The reception was nice. I got to see a few of my brother's friends I hadn't seen in a long time and even talked with some. (my brother had friends I didn't really care for back in the day but most of them have done a lot of growing up and are now pretty cool).
We tried to get pictures of everybody holding Caitlyn but the battery died on the camera and we didn't have another. For some reason Caitlyn was just as popular as Tera and Boy that night. I guess it's because she's soo cute.

3 months old
Happy Labor Day to those of you who live in the States.
We had a fun and almost full weekend of stuff. We had three dinners to go to. Thankfully they were all split so we did one each day of the weekend. Not bad when you have a baby who gets fussy when she is not on her schedule. It was good to spend time with friends and family (my sister and family). Besides free food is always good.
We have been doing well since the last post. Caitlyn just wont stop growing. Although it's length wise and not width wise. So she's tall and skinny and oh so cute. She has learned a few more things. She knows how to roll over but doesn't like it. She screams when shes down on her back then she'll roll to her stomach and scream even louder. Still not liking to be down. She can sit up with help as from the last pictures, and still loves standing. Now she can pretty much do it all herself. I just have to give her my thumbs and get her to a sitting position then she will stand up with help for balance of course. She has really strong leg muscles. She is also starting to hold and shake her toys. Even reaching for some. It doesn't really seem like she is 3 months old already.
Oh I thought this was funny, and I know my dad will too. The other night she was a little fussy while Jordan had her so he turned her facing the tv (she likes to watch colors move) but she still fussed. Jordan changed the channel to something else he wanted to see and she still screamed. Well Jordan kept channel surfing until he came across the St Louis Cardinals game. Here's the funny part Caitlyn stopped fussing. He thought it was strange and told me so I changed the channel and she started fussing again so I put the ball game back on and she calmed down again. So needless to say we watched the ball game until bath time. Whatever works right?
Work is going well for both of us. It's the same old same old for me but Jordan is getting work from a contact he made on his last project. We are very happy about this. He is building a name for himself and people like his work. Well that's all that's been going on now for the cute pictures.
Let's see who can find Caitlyn?
Is she in there?
Oh wait...
Getting closer
There she is
Hmm wonder what dad's finger tastes like
She's ok with peek-a-boo
Here's how we are after we wake up
Yes she smiles
