Yep

We're obviously totally terrible at blogging.  Here's the pictures to catch up.

We had a decent amount of snow this winter:

May 17th, Gavin Elijah was born, at a whopping 8 lbs, 7 oz.  Kacey's labor was about 5 hours, which gave us time to get to know him before bed, and to get me to work the next day.

We got a chance to spend some time with some friends from college at the Zoo in St. Louis.  The new sea lion enclosure is pretty cool.

Fortunately, Caitlyn still likes hamming it up for the camera.  We'll take it while we can get it.

2013

Okay, okay, so it's been like 6 months since we blogged.  The good news, is that I've got pictures!!!!

Thanksgiving and Christmas were both good.  Lots of family time, and Caitlyn warmed up to everybody almost instantly.  She had a blast running around Emily and Brent's house:

We had a good visit with my Grandparents Lundy in Tulsa:

Kacey and Caitlyn started decorating our house for Christmas once Thanksgiving was over.

And they started decorating their nails, as well.

Here's our little goofball mugging for the camera.

She and her cousins were running around like crazy on Christmas Eve.

She's pretty funny.

I don't know where she gets it from.

She got a couple pairs of boots, which she had to try on instantly.

She also helped Kacey try out her new cake pop maker.

I think it was a success.

Now we're just in the process of getting Caitlyn moved to the larger bedroom in our house to make the smaller bedroom the nursery again for our anticipated arrival in May.  I don't think we feel like we're behind in getting things done yet, but in another couple of months I'm sure we will.

Happy Birthday Caitlyn!

So Cailtyn is officially 4 years old.  We had a small family party (or at least some family) this past weekend.  She has been asking for a Barbie birthday, so that's what we did.. My house was decorated in black and pink. She was so excited.

It took me most of the morning but I made a Barbie cake.

She loved everything that she got.  She has also played with or used everything in just the weekend.

I'm glad that 3 is over and hooray for 4.  She is already showing proof that she has listened to the things we said for the past 4 years.  Lets see what else is going to change.

Happy Birthday, monster!

The Circus

We went to the circus last night.  I know it was Caitlyn's first circus but I didn't know it was Jordan's, or at least that he remembers. We all had fun.  We met up with Caitlyn's best friend's family and our sitter and her family.  It was a small circus but still really good.

There were lions and tigers,
and camels,
and ponies and horses,
and elephants.

There was only 1 clown but he was awesome.  He brought some people from the audience in on his act.

There were some really amazing acrobats and motorcycles in the death cage.

Caitlyn figured out that she really likes cotton candy, however she didn't like the funnel cake.  I don't know where that came from.

As we were walking out, the clown was selling light up noses and Jordan bought one for Caitlyn.  She wore it to bed.  Jordan asked her what her favorite part was, and showing that she is both her mother and father she said the motorcycles and the clown.

I bet we will go again next year.  We all had a great time.
