We also went into St Louis that weekend. Jordan has a job there for the next three weeks and my brother was moving into his new house so I figured I'd go in as well. It also gave me a chance to see how Cailtyn would do on a car trip. (Jordan took his car since he's going to be there longer than me)For those of you who don't know, St Louis is about 1 hr 40 min to 2 hr trip. Well she did alright for half the trip but the rest of it she was a little fussy but not bad. I just had to keep putting her plug back in. Unfortunately she did the same thing on the way back home. I guess that's not too bad being that it was her first trip and she's only 6 weeks old.
Well we spent quit a bit of time with family and friends while we were there. After dinner with the Lundy family, I had lunch the next day with my mother and showed Caitlyn off at her office. That's also how I ]found out that she now weights 9lb 5 oz. It's really nice have a pediatric nurse for a mother. Then I met up with my best friend. It was a good day. We also helped my brother and his fiance move on Sat. After months of looking they finally found a really cute one. This also gave us a chance of getting my brother to hold Caitlyn.
He kept saying that she was too small. Like he was afraid of breaking her. It's a good thing that Jordan doesn't really give people a choice. He did alright even if it was only for a minute or two.
I don't know who all of you remember but this past weekend was also our anniversary. We've been married for 6 years. It doesn't really seem that long, considering we've been together for 10 and 1/2 years. Anyways we took advantage of the fact we were staying at his parents and let them babysit and we went out. I don't even remember our last real date. Of course my mind isn't really what it used to be.
Over all it was a really good trip in with the exception that it threw Caitlyn out of her schedule. I'm trying to get her back on it, and she seems to think it's ok to sleep on people and not in her bed. That makes bed time a little hard.
But I know I can get her back on her schedule even if she drives me crazy with all her fussing.
I hope Jordan will be able to deal with the schedule I put her one since he'll be gone for three weeks. There is a good note. She has sleeps for about 7-8 hours at night. She has done this for a week. So I'm at least getting a decent sleep. That's all the fun things that have been going on. Maybe Jordan will write on here again. We'll see.
